I tried checking in on him late last year and it seems he passed away in like September from what his FB says. I ended up buying a model ND and Fiata in honor of him I keep on my shelf. I didn’t talk to him that much, but he was a cool dude from what I gathered the few times we ever did. May he R est In Peace.

In March I prepared a farewell post in case COVID got me, since I’m old(i sh) and frankly it wasn’t at all obvious just how serious things might get.

Hopefully that sits unused in my drafts for another decade or three.

That makes me sad, but I’m also glad that he held on to life so long with such a good attitude about it.

Have you made a post about it? Please do so in honor of him. I think it can be done respectfully. I wish we could give him a 21 Miata salute.

He died fighting and that’s what matters, God rest his soul. I’ll get around to it whenever I can. It’s the least I can do for such an outstanding and exemplary member of our little automotive community.
